If you have a site or page with content of interest to other youth agency leaders, I would appreciate knowing about it. I review EVERY site for content before I post it here (makes for some long nights and weekends) and normally if I feel your content can help out some volunteer or unit somewhere, I'll post it here within that week of you posting me. If I feel that only a portion of your site would be of general interest, I'll post only the URL of that part of your site. Please don't take it as an insult but rather as my way of insuring that people that come here to Leaders' Online gets as much information as reasonably available out on the World Wide Web.

Send a posting to me by linking here; or if your browser doesn't automatically open it's mailer to you, post to coffeeweb@aol.com and with the subject line in ALL CAPS "NEW LO SITE OR PAGE". I'll acknowledge receiving the URL and will let you know when this page has been updated with the new links.

Links to other sites

Here you will find links to other sites that offer information for youth agency leaders and volunteers. These links are listed here with the hopes that you will use their resources to make your program better, to learn about their programs or program options, and to make your experience in youth agency the best it can be.

Unit sites, that is, those sites expressely put together to support a unit (eg. Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, Explorer Post or Ship, or similiar organizations in other programs) will not be posted here. The problem with posting many organizational unit sites are that frequently they do not offer too much in the area of program, membership resources, financial support or unit support ideas and many pages or sites are not maintained often enough nor stay in the same location. There are notable exceptions as you will see here; there are several unit sites which, because of their SPECIAL information, will be linked here. But they are the EXCEPTION and not the norm.

There are also links here to organization sites which do not support the point of view of many, including myself. These links are here for balance: I firmly believe that in order to make your group or organization better, that you need to see what your "opposition" says about you and what their supporters feel about your program. Leaders' Online does NOT approve nor support those sites, but feel that their content should be shared within the broader youth program audience. Please view them as you would this site or any other site: as a source of information and reference material, and NOT as an official ANYTHING on behalf or in opposition to any national or regional youth serving program or agency.
